WAYNE Rooney has had a second hair op on his thinning thatch � lasting NINE hours.Balding Roo, 27, had the transplant at a private clinic as a top-up to his 2011 surgery there.
A source said last night: �It was very successful. He�s as pleased as punch with the results and can�t wait to unveil his new look.�
The Man United ace had the procedure at London�s Harley Street Hair Clinic at the weekend. Clinic director Nadeem Uddin Khan confirmed: �He visited us for pre-planned second-stage treatment of his successful transplant.This was scheduled when he began in 2011. It�s standard.
�We�re delighted with the way he�s changed attitudes towards hair transplants.�
His �15,000 procedure two years ago saw doctors take hair from the back of his bonce to replant at the front. The thrilled star said at the time: �I was going bald at 25. Why not? I�m delighted.� The results were so impressive he even arrived at the Euro 2012 championships with a quiff.
His transplant inspired thousands of other balding fellas to head to clinics � with some reporting bookings up 25 per cent.
