There Have Not Been Any Visionary Leader After Dr. Kwame Nkumah - Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe

Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has said that as far as he is concerned deficiency of a visionary leader to be in the helm of affairs after Ghanas first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumahs regime is what is deteriorating the country. According to the former Ghana Football Association boss, Ex-President Kufuor who governed for eight (8) years came close to what Dr. Kwame Nkrumah did but certain issues obstructed his achievement. After Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, I dont think we have had any visionary leader. The one who came close a bit is President Kufuor. President Kufuor could have done more and more and close to what President Nkrumah did butafter Kwame Nkrumah, there have not been any visionary leaders, he noted. As to whether President John Dramani Mahama will outdo Ghanas first Presidents success as a visionary leader, Dr. Nyaho said President John Mahama has just begun so lets watch what he will do. We must give him the opportunity. One thing a lot of people doesnt seem to see is that, here is a President being bombarded right, left and center and have a case in court. Nobody knows the outcome. Lets give him, (Prez Mahama) the long rope. But if he goes the wrong way, he would have a bash from me. I can assure him that. We need a visionary leader. Speaking on Asempa FM the leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), repeated that the NPP needs to be tolerant; Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe questioned the conduct of some leading members of the NPP in recent times. If the NPP could not accept free speech then that is worrying. What is happening now in the party is a bit strange. I am calling on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to bring them to order because as defacto leader he has to call them to order, he advised. Nonetheless, he said he would not be worried if some party members criticized his utterances. I have no problem at all, let them come up. Let those who will have an issue with what I have said come up. I have no problem with that at all, he stated.
