An Accra Circuit Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Duke Twum Asante, a cashier at the Merchant Bank, for embezzling over GH� 50,000 belonging to his employers.
The accused before his leave on February 11, 2013, suppressed cash deposited by customers, thus their accounts were not credited with the amounts deposited on February 8, 2013.
All efforts by the bank to trace Twum to retrieve the money have so far proven futile.
