Eden Micro-Finance Gives Victims of Market Fires Long Period To Pay Back Loans

The Executive Director of Eden Microfinance, Mr. William Adom Boateng has announced a flexible long term payment period to victims of recent market fires. According to him, the company shares the same sentiment with other financial institutions and banks to help revamp traders who lost their properties to the recent fires. Whiles giving a long term payment plan, Mr. William Boateng also urged affected traders not to hesitate to call on Eden Micro-Finance for loans to face-lift their businesses. �The downfall of a man is not the end of him. Victims of the market fires should take heart. We can assure them that they will again begin their business. We have spoken to numerous of the affected traders to come for another loan to start business. ��We are giving them a flexible six (6) month payment plan to clear their old debt with no rush and interest free,� he said. At a press conference in Accra, Mr. Adom Boateng however schooled and recommends newly introduced loan insurance policy to traders so as to ensure the safety of their treasures in-case of any disaster. He said �banks and other financial institutions will be forced to ante up debts if traders find the need to insure their loans�. He expresses optimism that traders will not go through hardship revamping their businesses in case any unfortunate happens. �Traders should capitalize on the micro-finance national insurance commission has introduced. We are educating traders to capitalize on that. In that case banks and financial institutions will not be worried when giving out loans. �� At first, insurance were only meant for cars and houses but now new loan insurance has been introduced. Even ice-water sellers can insure their business. We are pleading to traders to insure their loans for safety,� he advised.
