Ayew Brothers Yet To Write To Ghana FA Over Black Stars Return

Andre and Jordan Ayew are yet to officially write to the Ghana Football Association to announce their availability. The Olympique Marseille were talked out of temporary retirement by Ghana president John Mahama two weeks ago. Reports suggest the sons of football legend Abedi Pele were directed by the countrys leader to formally write to the Ghana FA stating they have ended their self-imposed exiles. Yes as I speak to you now the Ghana Football Association has not received any official letter from Dede or his junior brother, Jordan Ayew, Ghana FA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie told Footy Ghana. The Ghana Football Association is ever ready for them and if indeed they have rescinded their decision the GFA will be glad to see them put that on paper and send it like what they did some time ago, but as I speak to you, not even the GFA President has received an official letter from the Ayews. It will be recalled that both quit the national team after they were excluded from the Ghanas squad to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. Andre claimed his relationship with some management members had deteriorated and his younger brother wanted to be assured of a regular playing time.
