Gomoa NDC Angry With VEEP "We the executives of the Gomoa Central Constituency of the NDC wish to rejoin to the Daily Guide publication on the above caption dated Tuesday 25th June 2013, that the publication made was frivolous and calculated attempt by some group of greedy people to disgrace the Member of Parliament, executives and the entire party at large. "We further wish to state that though a meeting of branch executives was held on the June 2nd, 2013 at the said A.M.E Zion Church as stated, but the Member of Parliament did not categorically state the Veep had cautioned her not to endorse or support Mr. Moses Jehu-Appiah for the position of the District Chief Executive for Gomoa East. "She rather said, she has moved length and breadth to assist him to be endorsed but she seemed not to receive favourable results. "She continued that some group of people who claim to be supporters of Mr. Jehu Appiah pressured her to send Mr. Appiah to the Veep for endorsement but she told them the Veep does not endorse or appoint DCEs and it cannot therefore be possible. "Consequently, she stated that some people also pressured her to undermine Hon. Isaac Kingsley Ahunu Armah for his removal but she denied them because the incumbent DCE has not done anything wrong to call for his removal. "Regrettably, she said some people have started undermining her first because their demands could not be met by the MP and therefore advised them to give her time to settle.
