Cristiano Ronaldo: I Miss England

CRISTIANO RONALDO says he misses English football but has ruled out leaving Real Madrid this summer. Manchester United boss David Moyes is keen to bring the Portuguese superstar back to Old Trafford. And Ronaldo, 28, admits the Red Devils are still in his heart. But the Real ace insists he is happy in Spain and does not intend to quit Carlo Ancelottis side anytime soon. Ronaldo said: I really miss English football. For me, it was one of the best years in my career, when I was there at Manchester United. Everyone knows that. It is a club that is still in my heart. I really, really miss. But now my life is in Spain. I am enjoying playing there too but in the future we never know. I am really, really happy in the Spanish league at the moment. Ronaldo fuelled speculation he was ready to leave the Bernabeu last month when he took to Twitter to reject reports he had signed a new contract. But he now seems keen to see out the remaining two years of his current deal. Ronaldo was speaking in Singapore at a Singapore Olympic Foundation event. He was quizzed about United by kids at Crest Secondary School. And when they also asked about Barcelonas 20million signing of Brazilian star Neymar, Ronaldo responded: Barcelona have an excellent team but I play for Real Madrid, the best team in the world. I play with the best players so for me it doesnt really matter what Barcelona do. I just try and be focused for my team, Real Madrid.
