Ghanaian striker Nathaniel Asamoah has filed a lawsuit against Red Star Belgrade over arrears, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal. The 22-year-old joined the Serbian giants from Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko in 2012 but still owed arrears running into thousands of dollars. The former All Stars attacker has sued the club at the Serbian Arbitration Commission for breach of contract. Asamoah is seeking a move away from the club after failing to hold down a regular position since joining the Marakana. He is still contracted to the club till June 2015.
