Pastor Asks Ghanaians To Pray Against National Misfortunes

Reverend George Asante, North Kaneshie Central District Circuit Pastor, has noted that Ghana needs the hand of God to prevent the calamities that is befalling the country. We need the grace and hand of God in the growth of our economy, in the prevention of carnage on our roads, and the recent fires in our markets and communities, he stressed. Rev Asante made the observation in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Kaneshie, a suburb of Accra on against the backdrop of four-day All Believers Conference by the Christ Apostolic Church International starting from Monday, July 8, at the churchs premises at Kaneshie in Accra. The conference on the theme; The Spirit of the End Time Revival would be used to pray against all the altars of foundational curses of the devil. Rev Asante pointed out that the world is gradually losing God-spirited leaders with the right sense of direction in alleviating the troubles that the people go through in life and therefore there is the need for fervent intercessory prayers from religious leaders. He indicated that at the end of the conference assorted items worth GH2,000 and a cash of GH 500 would be donated to the Childrens Department of the Kaneshie Polyclinic. Mr Alex Akpini, a member of the events committee of the church urged Ghanaians to live according to Gods purpose and avoid sinful acts. Speakers at the conference would include Apostle Dr Ntow Kwame Amoani, Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International and Apostle Dr Emmanuel Donkor, General Secretary of the church.
