Archbishop Duncan Willliams: I Harbour A Lot Of Pain In My Heart

The presiding archbishop and general overseer of the Christian action Faith ministries, Nicholas Duncan-williams says, the level of lies and hypocrisy in the charismatic church is unbelievable. Speaking at a special Republic Day Service at the Acton Chapel Prayer Cathedral, Archbishop Duncan-Williams said he harbours a lot of pain in his heart because of the extent of envy and rancor among Pastors and Reverend Ministers of the charismatic faith. Anytime God gives us opportunity as a Church, instead of us to unite, we fight one another, for everybody wants his own, he bewailed. According to him, such fights among pastors were the bane of Ivory Coast. Thats what happened in Cote DIvoire, he revealed, explaining that: The Problem in La Cote DIvoire [was] that all the pastors were fighting one another there was a group of them who were Gbagbos Pastors; there was another of them who were Gbagbos wifes Pastors. So you have the wifes pastors who were telling her what God is saying and you have people who were pastors to Gbagbo the President and they were fighting one another, breaking one anothers head, with gossips and rumours. He said the same scenario is playing out on Ghanas Christian landscape. The same thing [happened] when Prof. Mills came, Archbishop Duncan Williams revealed, adding that there was fighting amongst men of God, with everybody wanting to go to the Castle to see the late President. According to him, the level of fighting amongst pastors in Ghana could plunge the country into an abyss and therefore urged unity to forestall such level of rot.
