The 22-year-old is making a return to his parent club after a successful stint with Chievo Verona last season. Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie will have a medical at Genoa later today before joining the team for pre-season on Thursday. The 22-year-old moved to Chievo last season in a co-partnership deal with his parent club Genoa. The former�s attempt to make his deal permanent after an impressive camping proved futile since his performances did not go unnoticed in the sights of Genoa. Cofie ended his summer holidays in Ghana over the weekend as he prepares for his new challenge. He never had the opportunity at Genoa as he was loaned out to Torino, Piacenza, Sassuolo and later a co-partnership with Chievo. But with his level of exposure and form over the past few seasons, the Ghanaian midfielder can now make his way into the Genoa team for the 2013-4 season.
