Ebenezer Assifuah Is Second-Joint Top Scorer At U-20 World Cup

Ghana striker Ebenezer Assifuah is second-joint top scorer at the FIFA U20 World Cup with four goals. The Liberty Professionals player doubled his account after scoring a brace-including a last-minute extra-time header-against Chile in their quarter-final clash on Sunday night. Assifuah is tied with Nicolas Castillo (Chile), Yaya Sanogo (France) and Nicolas Lopez (Uruguay) . Only Portugal's Bruma and Spain's Jesse Rodriguez have one more than him as top scorers. But with the duo eliminated, Assifuah can increase his account as he has got he has got two matches to play (semi-final and final/third place). The 20-year-old was Ghana's top scorer at the African Youth Championship early this year in Algeria. Assifuah has been linked with Italian Serie A side Udinese.
