Gifty Anti Celebrates...

Gifty Anti, host of the Standpoint, a television program which deals with issues affecting women, has held a worship conference to mark the fifth anniversary of the television show. The conference dubbed Women Called to Worship Conference was themed, Woman what do you have? Women from all walks of life, came together to thank God for the anniversary of the television programme. The conference also had seasoned gospel artists like Allen Caiquoo, Cynthia McCauley, Becky Bonnie, Selina Boateng, Mary Ghansah, and Minister O.T performing to the audience who were at the Trinity Baptist Church to grace the event. The occasion was also used to launch the Girl In Need Foundation to help the less privileged in society. Rev. Eastwood Anaba of the Fountain Gate Chapel, who launched the foundation, said one should not wait to be self-sufficient in life before helping others in society. Citing the story of the poor widow who fed Prophet Elijah in the Bible, Rev. Anaba said Ghanaians needed to cultivate the habit of helping the vulnerable and less privileged in society with the little that they have as God would use that gesture of love to bless them. Rev. Anaba also donated an undisclosed amount of money to the foundation.
