TB Joshua Takes Over Ghanaian Second-tier Side Waassaman Side For Free
Waassaman Uniteds majority shareholder Moses Armah has handed the club to famous Nigerian pastor TB Joshua as a personal gift.
The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations will rename the second-tier side Emmanuel Stars FC.
Wassaman United suffered relegation in the 2011/12 season after only one season in the top-flight.
Im meeting with him within the week. I have given it to him after he expressed interest in getting a football club to manage because of his great love for the game, Armah, who owns Medeama SC, said.
The name will change to Emmanuel Stars FC as he has proposed. It has been accepted already.
TB Joshua has made a number of predictions in football and reported to have predicted the Black Stars will lose 2-1 against Zambia in a 2014 World Cup group decider in September but he has since denied.
