The University of Professional Studies, UPS, in Accra has nominated the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu for its first ever Honorary Doctorate conferment this year.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu has again been nominated by the University to be the Chair of the Traditional Leadership Centre which is to be established before this year ends.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Joshua Alabi announced this at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi when he led a delegation of the institution to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene.
