Kotoko Supporters To Embark On A Peaceful Demonstration

After rumors that Head Coach of the current GLO Premier League champions, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani premature exit from the club, some supporters have expressed worry demanding the return of the coach. Information reaching Peace FM�s PEACE POWER SPORTS indicates that, supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko will pay a courtesy call on the owner and life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to express their grievances as to why management purportedly sacked Didi Dramani. Asante Kotoko is reportedly to have asked coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani to jump the hurdle to avoid the push with a year left on his contract. According to reports, Kotoko last Thursday asked Dramani to resign honourably latest by Monday, July 22, or he will be fired. Dramani, who has been in charge of Kotoko for a season, supervising 38 competitive games and winning 21, drawing 14 and losing 3, is in consultation with his legal team to weigh his options before taking a final decision. But speaking with PEACE POWER SPORTS, management member, Ali Maradona confirmed the demonstration and hopes the supporters cry will be heard by the owner so as Coach Didi Dramani stay after winning the Glo League. The supporters are calling on the Asantehene to call back Coach Didi Dramani so he will continue as the head coach of Kotoko. �The supporters are not in agreement with the management team to sack the coach. They (supporters) want him (Coach Didi Dramani) back,� he said. Dramani succeeded Maxwell Konadu last season following the latter�s decision to accept the national appointment as assistant coach of the Black Stars.
