Woyome 'Punches' Martin Amidu

The office of businessman Alfred Woyome has hit hard at the former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Martin Amidu describing him as being consistently inconsistent in his statements about the payment of the GH51 million judgment debt. Below is the unedited version of the Mr. Woyomes statement I found it interesting to have Martin Amidu come back and spew more lies to the Ghanaian public to serve his bitter ego. What is it that I said in my statement that is making Martin Amidu think we are working with the present A-G and the Chief Director to destroy the case and vilify him?. My statement that Martin Amidu wrote to the Supreme Court that he knew of the case only on the 26th December, 2011 should be read 23rd December, 2011. This is contained in his own submission to the Supreme Court "... When this issue came to my attention on the 23rd December ..." meanwhile Ama Gaisie's memo to him was dated 3rd November, 2011. According to the said memo, it is not true that Ama Gaisie, the Solicitor-General asked Martin Amidu to order the withdrawal of the case from the High Court which he refused to do? Why is Martin Amidu always telling untruths to make himself relevant?. There are several memo's we have cited which Amidu minuted on showing his agreement with the Attorneys handling the case at the time that the State has no case against Mr. Woyome. In the Solicitors-General's memo dated 3rd November, 2011 he minuted on the memo saying "I did not assign this case to the Attorneys and I am not the one going to take them out of it. I also did not authorize the trail of the case. Attorneys should have known from the beginning they were uncomfortable handling the case and should have sought directions then. What the CSA is saying at folio 16 in 2 must have been known to him before I assumed office on 25/1/11 and cannot be an excuse. I do not intend to countermand my predecessor's instructions in the matter and subsequent actions by Attorneys. The writ dated 28/07/10 was not filed upon my instructions and it is not today that I am to be told those who filed the action think it is weak". If you cannot countermand the instructions of your predecessor, is it not an agreement if u are the A-G who could have done anything in your power?. In one particular memo by Cecil Adadevoh, Snr. State Attorney who Martin Amidu is calling to be a prosecution witness, he agreed with the contents of his memo and gave a categorical directives that they shld withdraw the rest of the case in court and make a final settlement with Mr. Alfred Woyome, insisting it must be done professionally. Martin Amidu must shut up because there was never a case at the first place against Mr. Woyome. Martin Amidu chose to represent the face of the 'Cock and Bull' story concocted against Mr. Woyome which they sold deceitfully to the Ghanaian public; everything he has done is documented, so what is he talking about. Martin always jumps to be a victim when he is exposed, and like to refer to himself as a 'scape-goat'. We remember that he made an allegation against his colleague ministers and has till now not brought out the names. Martin Amidu thinks that the Attorney Genral position in any NDC administration is his preserve, and therefore attacks anybody who is appointed to that office. Martin Amidu is still living in the illusion that he is the 'shadow vice-prez' and he is the most intelligent Ghanaian who has concerns against corruption, but we shall surely and systematically expose who he is... Ghanaians will get to know what Mr. Woyome stood for, what he stands for, and why some people are very uncomfortable with him. The chicken will surely come Home to Roost. POST SCRIPTUM: 1. Why is Martin Amidu also involving Capt. Kojo Tsikata in his scandal? 2. One year anniversary of the late Prez J.E.A. Mills is a time of confession from those who accused him wrongly for stopping the payment as against documentary evidence and his famous interview with Radio Gold, which Martin Amidu sent to the Supreme Court for a statement to be made against the noble Prof. in order to bring down his image and raise he, Martin's 'sorry' image. 3. Does it mean all the people Amidu has mentioned in his statement so far are working with him?
