Prez Mahama & NDC Can�t Keep Their Desires Under Control When They Catch A Glimpse Of Money

Every government faces administrative challenges but to the Managing Editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper, Kenneth Kuranchie, the major problem faced by President John Dramani Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government is how to control state funds and use the money judiciously to improve the living conditions of the citizenry. According to him, Ghana�s problems has nothing to do with the non-availability of funds since government could have retrieved the controversial judgment debts paid to various companies which through the help of Hon. Martin Amidu, the Supreme Court has ruled that those companies should refund the monies. Speaking on Okay fm, opined that President Mahama does not need to send the Finance Minister to source for money to develop the country when the government could raise $810 million from the various judgment debts they wrongfully paid to Alfred Agbesi Woyome and others. ��the way funds are managed in this country by the state is reprehensible and criminal because the NDC government spends money like Arab Sheiks�the NDC and President Mahama cannot control themselves when they see money; they behave like children who have been exposed to candies at the supermarket�The NDC have realized that it is easy to grab gratuitously thus they are doing so without their conscience pricking them,� he averred.
