The late filing of written address by Tsatsu Tsikata, Counsel for the Third Respondent, in the ongoing 2012 election petition, according to the Deputy Propaganda Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah, is an indication to Ghanaians that technical faults can occur in human institutions but that does not and cannot undermine the integrity of that institution nor their work. According to him, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata demonstrated to Ghanaians that his late submission, irrespective of that fact that he was scolded by the Supreme Court, means irregularities do not have any impact in the 2012 election petition. Speaking on OkayFM, he pointed out that so flawed is human nature that the court had to accept Tsatsu�s explanation by ruling to accept his late filing of address; the clearest indication that technical or administrative errors cannot undermine the acceptance of an address and in that vein the 2012 election results. In his estimation, the petitioners went to court in a state of confusion stressing that frustration pushed them to seek for the cancellation of valid votes cast by Ghanaians who did not commit any mistakes during the electioneering process. He scoffed at the petitioners� use of pink sheets as the primary source of evidence for the annulment of legitimate votes saying the pink sheets mean nothing since �it cannot talk and neither can it walk�; adding that �no member of NPP came to court to pinpoint to the Supreme Court that a particular polling station witnessed multiple voting�.
