Highlife maestro, Charles Kofi Mann popularly known as CK Mann, is out with a new highlife album on the WestGOLD Production label. The six-track new album was recorded live at the WestGOLD Recording Studio within Skyy House building in Takoradi, was to be launched at the Skyy Beach Haven, Sekondi on Saturday. Musicians who worked on the album include Bessa Simons, Nana Nkrumah, Ralph Karikari, Kofi Bentsil and Mawuko, who is in TV3�s current Mentor contest. Artistes scheduled to perform at the launch include CK Mann himself, Bessa Simons, A B Crentsil, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Pat Thomas, Kofi Benstil, Felix Owusu and Castro. WestGOLD Recording Studio is a social investment put together by the CEO of Skyy Media Group with funding contribution from Mobicrane Ghana Limited, an oil and mining service company. The vision of WestGold Recording Studio is to reinstate Western Region as home of good highlife music.
