I Will Take Ghana To The World Cup - Gyan Declares

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has assured, that he will do everything within his means to qualify Ghana to next years FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Stars are chasing a historic third straight appearance at the competition and a win over Zambia next month will put the team through to the final round f qualifiers. Gyan who increased his goal tally to 39 after coming off the bench to score two goals against Turkey on Wednesday night will be the second captain to take Ghana to the World Cup after Stephen Appiah. As a captain what I have to do to psyche the boys up to make sure we win the games to qualify I will do everything possible to help the guys. What we also need from Ghanaians is they should keep on praying for the Black Stars he said We have got important players and they should pray for our health and that is the most important thing. If everybody is one hundred percent fit, I have no doubt in my mind that we can qualify for the World Cup. As at now we have to concentrate on the Zambia game because that is the most important game ahead of us for now. I think that all we need is the prayers of Ghanaians so that we all stay fit and get injury free and then we see what happens".
