Forgive Me; I Goofed - Sir John Apologises To Supreme Court

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party has rendered an unqualified apology to the Supreme Court for his unsavoury remarks. Speaking on Oman FM, the same station where Mr. Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John poured out his vitriolic attack on the Presiding judge of the nine member panel hearing the election petition Justice William Atuguba, Sir John stated that he was "very sorry for his comments and regrets his actions". According to him, he was unguarded in his comments adding that he could have been more meticulous with his choice of words. "I beg all Ghanaians and the Supreme Court to forgive me for my comments...I made those statements but I concede that they were in bad taste and I retract them" Sir John said in twi. He added "I apologise to the Supreme Court and especially Justice William Atuguba for my unsavoury comments". Sir John's apology is in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court.
