NPP Bigwigs Calling For Sir Johns Resignation Must Be Cautious Anita De Soso

The National Women's Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Soso believes the call by Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe for the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie to resign is reckless. Anita De Soso on August 12, 2013 prior to the summoned day of the NPP duo by the Supreme Court said that some members of the NPP who want him (Sir John) out from office before his tenure ends thinking he would be incarcerated have been sheepish when the court only slapped a fine on Sir John. A founding member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe moments after Sir John escaped prison granted an interview demanding the immediate resignation of the NPP scribe. Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe was purportedly to have said his General Secretary should not be told to resign since the humiliation alone should be enough for him (Sir John) to resign honourably. The level he (Sir John) was brought to is enough to make him resign. In any civilised country if a General Secretary is brought down to that level, nobody should advise him to resign, Nyaho-Tamakloe added. Reacting to the issue on Adom FM, the NDC woman however said, Sir John is a leader and he speaks for the party (NPP), if not he would not have made such utterances. If for the progressiveness of the party he suffers that in court, why would they call for his resignation? She questioned. Adding, They (NPP bigwigs) should know that it is Sir John today and it could be them tomorrow. Sir John together with a member of the NPP Communications team, Hopeson Adorye were delivered from the jaws of jail after they were found guilty of criminal contempt.
