I'm Available To Play For The Black Stars - Kevin Prince Boateng

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has formally announced his return to international football after a near two-year hiatus. The AC Milan midfielder temporary quit the Black Stars in November 2011 citing fatigue from travel in a move that shocked all. Boateng in his letter confirming his availability to play for the Black Stars a second time said I write to inform the Ghana Football Association (GFA) that after a few consultations, I have decided to change my decision and confirm my availability to play for the Black Stars whenever I am needed. Meanwhile, the GFA has welcomed the decision of the German-born midfielder, who has not featured for the Black Stars since a Nations Cup qualifier against Congo in Kumasi two years ago. Emmanuel Gyimah, GFA General Secretary said: It is with great pleasure that we welcome your decision to return to action to the national team of Ghana, the Black Stars. Your decision to return to action for Ghana will surely re-energise the Black Stars for our future challenges. We are confident that you will work hard in the team to ensure the continuous progress of our beloved national team of Ghana, the Black Stars. Boateng made his debut for the Black Stars at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, his major outing with the national team A.
