An All Inclusive Government Is The Way To Go - Fifi Kwetey

A Minister of State at the Presidency in charge of Financial and Allied Institutions, Fifi Kwetey has joined the calls for the elimination of the 'winner takes all' syndrome in Ghanaian politics. The Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwabena Agyei on Thursday called on politicians to work together to end the 'winner takes all system.' Mr. Kwetey pointed out that practicing an all inclusive government is the sustainable way to go. Africa is far too poor to continue dividing itself the way we are doing we are far too poor and undeveloped to continue every single time, fragmenting ourselves The issue has received mixed reactions since the NDC Chairman made the call at the 21st anniversary celebrations of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show Fiifi Kwetey stated that although the comments are purely the views of the NDC chairman, all parties should consider adopting the approach. I wouldnt say he is alone in holding that particular view. I would say clearly, I belong to that school of thought as well but the time has come for us to truly to be looking at a far more inclusive way of governing this country. He counseled that Ghanaians to really think about how we can get a far more inclusive governing situation.
