The National Democratic Congress (NDC)has expressed hope of a favourable verdict by the Supreme Court.
Speaking to Citi News, the National organizer of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan said the party was hopeful that the Supreme Court will rule in its favor since it lawyers strongly defended every issue raised by the petitioners.
The Supreme Court will deliver its final judgment on the election petition in which the petitioners are challenging the validity of the results of the 2012 presidential elections August 29, 2013.
According to Mr Boateng, �the final verdict will be given based on the discretion of the judges sitting on the case�
Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has predicted that �the verdict will be a victory for Ghana�
�Whatever decision that emanates from the Supreme Court should be taken in good fate" he added.
