Asamoah Gyan Declares Himself Ready

Asamoah Gyan is hopeful of recovering in time for the Ghana's crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia on Friday. The Ghana captain has returned to training after he limped off during the team's session in Accra on Tuesday. Though Gyan has made a steady progress, he is optimistic of about his chances of playing himself into his Kwesi Appiah's plans for the last Group D match at the Baba Yara Stadium. "The scan was okay," Black Stars striker, Gyan told the media in Kumasi on the eve of the match. "And I decided to train." "Everything went well and I think I am ready. The movement is fine." "Hopefully everything will be fine and I feel good to play on Friday," he said.
