We're Adequately Prepared - Kwesi Appiah

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says his side are adequately prepared to lay Zambias bogey to rest on Friday in a crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier. The build-up to the final Group D qualifier has been dominated by the loud-mouth Zambians who have vowed to pull the qualification rug from under the feet of the Black Stars. This has made the match tense especially with the Chipolopolo beating Ghana twice last year at the Nations Cup and in the corresponding fixture. Personally I believe that the Zambians have helped us a along the line, Appiah said. Most of their pronouncements and the way they were talking a lot on the radio and the papers. They started early which for me is good because they made us realise that we also need to prepare as early as possible and that made us to start our preparations about a month ago. And as I said earlier psychologically, the boys, many of the players have been hearing about all these talks. But I believe that you always show what you can do on the pitch not on the radio or in the papers.
