I'll Seek God's Face On My Political Future - Nana Akufo Addo

The 2012 Presidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo says he will seek God's face on his political future. He said this when the Greater Accra executives and some party members from the Osu Clottey Constituency called on him on Friday . There have been calls from sections within the party for Nana Akufo-Addo to be the party's presidential candidate for the 2016 elections after Supreme Court ruling on the election petition. The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Frederick Freduah Antoh, said the regional executive of the party had declared their support for Nana Akufo-Addos third bid for the presidency. Nana Addo lost both the 2008 presidential election to the late President Atta Mills and the 2012 elections to President John Mahama by a narrow margin. And some within leadership and supporters of the party believe he is the best candidate for the 2016 election. After the Supreme Court ruling on the election petition, Nana Addo announced that he was taking a break from politics. He reiterated this when the Greater Accra executives of the party visited him saying, the party lobbyist should cease lobbying and that he will announce his decision at the appropriate time.
