Russian Chief Justice Visits Ghana

The Chief Justice of the Russian Federation, Vyachesla Mikhailovic Lebedev, is on a four day visit to Ghana at the head of a four member delegation. The visit which will provide opportunity for the two Judiciaries to discuss issues of mutual interest is at the invitation of the Chief Justice, Georgina Theodora Wood. While in Ghana, the Russian Chief Justice will address the Annual Bar Conference of the Ghana Bar Association at Ho on Monday. Justice Lebedev, will also pay a courtesy call on the President, John Dramani Mahama, at the Flagstaff House and the Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho before departing for Russia. Other members of the delegation include, Chief Justice of Moscow Regional Court, and Chief Justice of the Saratov Regional Court.
