World Cup Play-Off: We'll Do Whatever It Takes To Represent Ghana - Asamoah Gyan

Moments after the 2014 FIFA World Cup play-off draw, Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has said, though playing Egypt will be a difficult task, Ghana will do whatever it takes to represent the country once again at the world soccer stage. The Al Ain striker is very optimistic of Ghana�s participation in Brazil and prays for injury free for his teammates ahead of Egypt�s crucial encounter. He however called on football fanatics to support the team in diverse ways to ensure both a home and away win. Asamoah Gyan, who was speaking in an interview with Accra-based Happy FM, assured his readiness to lead the Stars to Brazil. He advised Ghanaians to desist from criticizing players who will be invited by the Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah after describing Egypt�s play-off encounter as a �do or die� affair. Blacks Stars have been drawn against the Pharaohs of Egypt in the play-off round of qualifying matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Black Stars will play home in the first leg of the two-leg tie on the weekend of 11-15 October, with the return match set for November 15-19. The aggregate winner after the two-leg tie qualifies to the finals in Brazil.
