Ex-Kotoko Chief Blasts David Duncan Over Ghana FA Attack

Ex- Kotoko chief Jarvis Peprah has launched a stinging attack on David Duncan for claiming only coaches from Kotoko are appointed to handle national teams. Duncan courted controversy last week when he criticized the Ghana FA for employing the services of ONLY Kotoko coaches to manage the various national teams. He told a section of Hearts supporters during a forum that appointment of national team coaches were not based on merit. The comment by the former Ashantigold trainer has drawn massive criticism in the local media and the ex-Kotoko Chief Executive has condemn Duncan for his unfortunate sweeping statement. Its unfortunate to hear such a comment from a seasoned coach like Duncan, Peprah told Happy FM On what basis did he make such a claim? We were in this country when Jones Attuquafio paraded Hearts team to play Nigeria. In any case when he was in charge of the some of the national teams, which players did he pick from Kotoko to play? Such comment has the tendency to divide us. Its like setting up Hearts fans against Kwesi Appiah and Maxwell Konadu. Its unfair and betrays his logic. What is this? he asked. Who appointed Mahatma Otoo as the captain of the Black Meteors? Was it not Kwesi Appiah? Please we should stop these baseless accusations. I didnt expect this from someone in the caliber of Duncan. Its unfortunate and must be disregarded. Duncan guided Hearts to beat New Edubiase in their opeing Ghana Premier League game on Sunday
