Kennedy Agyepong Splashes Cash On KotokoFor Beating Hearts

Enterpreneur extraordinaire Kennedy Kenpong Agyepong has splashed thousands of dollars on his beloved club Kumasi Asante Kotoko for beating their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra last Sunday. This was revealed by Ali Maradona, a leading supporter of the Porcupine Warriors in a radio interview yesterday. According to Ali Maradona, the cash donation of GH7,000 and a $1,000 to cater for the playing bodys winning bonuses and the technical team respectively, was in fulfillment of his pledge ahead of the game. Earlier, Mr Agyepong, a former Board member of Kotoko known in soccer circles as Cappuccino, had donated GH4,000 toward the teams preseason training exercise in Tamale. And for defeating MTN FA Cup champions Medeama SC 3-0 in the Champion of Champions clash a few weeks ago, he rewarded the Porcupine Warriors with $1,000. Ali Maradona added that Mr Agyepong, CEO of Kenpong Group of Companies, airlifted about 20 fans of Kotoko from the Garden City of Kumasi to the capital for last Sundays match, and kept them at the Holiday Inn Hotel at Airport City. Among the fans who made the trip were Appiah Stadium, Kwabena Nyame, and Abi Lele. Ali Maradona thanked him for the gesture saying, We are indeed grateful to Cappuccino for his immense support all these years. He has been an inspiration and a great motivator to the playing body and the fans as well, we thank him very much.
