Interim Kotoko Chief To Present Management Team To Board Next Week

Interim Asante Kotoko chief Opoku Nti will seek the board�s approval over a management team he intends working with at a scheduled meeting next week. The ex player has been handed a three-month extension to his reign as the interim head of the club�s management team. Nti took the job following the resignation of Dr. K.K Sarpong as Executive Chairman two months ago. The former Ghana international is now seeking support from his own chosen personnel he intends working with in managing the club. Nti will seek the board�s approval in his new move at a scheduled meeting next week in Kumasi. �The board is meeting on Tuesday and I will be presenting to them members of the management I intend working with for the three months I have been given,� Nti told Radio Gold �I will seek their approval for this management after which we will take it up from there. �After the three months, if the board is satisfied with my work I will be more than glad to continue because it has always been my wish to lead Asante Kotoko.� Kotoko have made an impressive start to their Premier League defence after retaining their Super Cup title against Medeama under Opoku Nti. The team has won both opening Premier League games which includes a famous 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak in Accra.
