Mahama And NDC Have Already Misused Yet-To-Be-Laid 2014 &2015 Budgets

Former Member of Parliament for Asokwa constituency, Maxwell Kofi Jumah says the new tariff increments should reflect in the monthly salaries of workers in the country. To him, with the introduction of new tariffs, employers should also ensure they increase the remunerations of their workers. He expressed that, in the wake of the recent action undertaken by the PURC and the various utility service providers in the country, it will be unfair for salaries to remain unchanged. He however bemoaned the tariff increments, stating firmly that government should be investigated to unearth the actions and inactions of its officials. Speaking on Oman FM, he disclosed the deceit of the Mahama government, saying between September and November, (President) John Mahama and his NDC cohorts misused the whole of 2013 budget. Theyve also wasted part of the yet-to-introduced 2014 and 2015 budgetinterestingly, they did not use it to enhance development. They rather shared it to enrich themselves," hence having an adverse effect on the progress of the economy. This, he stated, invariably called for the new tariff increases.
