Weve Had Enough Of Rawlings OutburstsIts A Tale Told By An I***t

it is a tale. Told by full of sound and fury signifying nothingWhat he said is just sound and fury signifying nothing. Where was he heading with his comment and what did he intend to achieve? NPP bigwig on Rawlings UDS speech. A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described former President Jerry John Rawlings statements on happenings in the country after he was honoured last week as full of sound and fury signifying nothing. Speaking at a special congregation of the University of Development Studies, Saturday, where an honorary doctorate degree was conferred on him, former President Rawlings said: The great Justice Atugubas brand of leadership on the bench helped to restore some of the image the judiciary had lost over the years. His ability to stamp his authority and expose the indiscipline that some of the parties in the case were exhibiting, served as a greater complement to all the peace initiatives that we all lent a hand to. The former president also indirectly indicted President John Dramani Mahama, claiming his administration was full of crookish monsters. But contributing to discussions on PeaceFMs Kokrokoo morning show on the former presidents remarks, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency said while he truly respects Mr Rawlings, his comments mean nothing without any action. Cataloguing a litany of past vitriolic language including greedy bastards, babies with sharp teeth, old evil dwarfs among others used against his own party members by the former president, the NPP MP, quoting from Macbeth, a play written by William Shakespeare, said: it is a tale told full of sound and fury signifying nothingWhat he said is just sound and fury signifying nothing. Where was he heading with his comment and what did he intend to achieve? He added that though Mr Rawlings, as a former President, has every right to point out or expose any person deemed to be working against the state or the presidency; he believed Ghanaians have had enough of his outbursts. I respect him but I wish that if he has evidence that there are crookish monsters, evil dwarfs, sharp teeth, he should expose it. However, if he comes out once in a while and booms very soon it will be like the child who cries wolf Hon Agyarko says instead of complaining, the president to act by naming and shaming the miscreants he considers to be in his party. The former President has found a problem with everybody who has been head of state in this country: former President Kufour, late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills and now President John Mahama. If there is something we need to, he should point at it otherwise, it becomes sound and fury. We have heard enough of the orals, now we need actions
