Sir John Should Not Run Again - NPP MP

A former New Patriotic Party MP for Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region, Josephine Hilda Addo, has advised the General Secretary of her party to resist the temptation to seek re-election. The national executives of the NPP have released a timetable for the election of executives, from polling station to the national level, beginning from November 2013 and ending in March 2014. Although nominations have not been officially opened, a number of persons including the incumbent, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John have indicated their intention to vie for the office of General Secretary. Other party members who have announced their intention include Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, Captain Nkrabeah Effah Dartey (Rtd), Stephen Kwaku Balado Manu, and Nana Akomea. But speaking on Adom FMs Dwaso Nsem morning show, which was broadcast from sister station Nhyira FM in Kumasi, Hon Hilda Addo, who once served in the ECOWAS Parliament said Sir John would be ill-advised to seek re-election. If you want my candid opinion, I think Sir John should not run again, she told listeners of the show, hosted by Captain Smart. - See more at: http://www.adomonline.com/news_details.php?article=1727#sthash.bXz4c7GR.dpuf
