Dela To The Rescue; Asks Ghanaians To Leave Brigadier Gen Nunoo-Mensah Alone

A member of the Communications Team of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Edem has asked Ghanaians to stop attacking the personality of President John Dramani Mahamas National Security Advisor. Brigadier General Nunoo-Mensah stepped on the wrong foot of Ghanaian workers when he asked them to get out of the country if they were not willing to sacrifice. According to him, if workers cant sacrifice like what some of us have done, then they should take their passports and get out. The former military officer after expressing his views have been receiving heavy downpour of fire and brimstone from workers and Ghanaians who found his utterances offensive. Some have even asked President Mahama to fire him. But in a panel discussion on Thursdays edition of Kokrokoo Dela Edem said Ghanaians should let him be because there is nothing wrong in someone expressing his views. According to him, the motive behind what Brigadier Nunoo-Mensah said is not wrong; adding, it might be how he said it or the platform he used. Dela said if you critically anaylse what he said, you can find that he was right If we disagree with him; it can be expressed without insulting him and attacking his personality. People are intentionally emphasizing and using what Brigadier Nunoo-Mensah said just to insight workers against government Government has demonstrated that he is ready to negotiate and dialogue with workers; he (Nunoo-Mensah) was only urging Ghanaian workers to be patriotic and be able to sacrifice for the good of the country he indicated.
