Kaakyire Kwame Appiah Awarded In Canada

After enduring the cold winters of our home and native land Canada people from all walks came in droves to celebrate in union at the 7th Annual NTOMA DANCE: The mother of all dances which airs on GTV each and every year was held at the Luna Ballroom in Toronto. The vibe was electrifying and the pageantry was decadent as the special guests dressed to impress in colourful African print showcasing the rich vibrant Ghanaian culture. Guest artist Kaakyire Kwame Appiah swayed the crowd with smooth Soroku songs. Later in the evening, Ghana's Consul General to Ontario, Hon. Kwadwo Mawutor presented Kaakyire with a lifetime achievement award celebrating his musical career Willie Amoahene aka Willie-A and Frank Asiamah made this event happen with some help from Afia Wirekyewa Acqua, Becky Lala, Abrante Richard Boakye and Blingman Cudjoe. Special guest was Okuapeman Hemaa of Toronto, Nana May.
