So, Now You Know Monkeys Play By Sizes

Dear Mr. Asiedu Nketia, Ordinarily, I will have preferred not too write this open letter to you because of your call for a ceasefire in the matter of Hon. Alban Bagbin's tantrums and the reply from Stan Dogbe. However, your admonishment to Stan Dogbe to desist from taking on Alban Bagbin, a senior member of the NDC because monkeys play by sizes has compelled me to write to you through this medium. Sir, since when did you realize that monkeys play by sizes? Were you not aware of this fact of life when very young members of the NDC, in defence of President Atta Mills, hurled insults at the Founder of the party, Former President Rawlings? Why didnt you admonish the young ones then to stop it because monkeys play by sizes? Indeed, your good self at various fora took Rawlings on. If monkeys dont play by sizes, why did you take him on? Are you his size? Sir, how come that you remembered that monkeys play sizes only after Stan Dogbe decided to speak up in defence of President John Mahama? Is it that it was okay for young ones in the NDC to attack the Founder of the party in defence of President Atta Mills of blessed memory but same is not good in defence of President John Mahama? It is good for a person to live by principles. This makes us sincere persons worthy to be trusted. Having different principle for the same issue smacks of hypocrisy and double standards. Sir, the way you intervened to stop the war of words between Bagbin and others in the party, calling for a ceasefire in the process, has left a sour taste in the months of many NDC supporters. Your call for a truce had only one objective - to provide an exit plan for Bagbin. You did not care that by doing so without addressing the issues, you have left the accusations hanging around JMs neck. Your attempt to sweep Bagbins allegation under the carpet and leave the allegations hanging around the neck of JM is unfair to say the least. Why must you call for a truce without addressing the issues raised publicly? Is it true that. (1) This government is not an NDC govt but John Mahama, family and friends government? (2) That JM cannot fight corruption. (3) That JM is not showing leadership as a President. (4) That all these corruption allegations happened under JM as President. (5) That the President is inaccessible to the party. If you want us to believe that the issues have been raised at another level, why then did Bagbin come out publicly? Sir, I smell a grand conspiracy against JM. Many NDC supporters believe the funfool call of truce is part of the conspiracy. What shocked me most is your claim that you agree with Bagbin but his choice of platform was wrong. This coming from you smacks of something fishy. But, all eyes are watching. Thank you for spending time to read this letter. Signed
