David Asante, over the weekend toured the Fanteakwa, Mpraeso, Nkawkaw and Abetifi constituencies to interact with executives of the party, as the four constituencies are described by him as his home constituencies. King David, as he is popularly referred to, begun his tour by meeting and interacting with the NPP executives in Fanteakwa where he briefed them on why he wants to become the next youth leader of the NPP. King David added that he intends setting up a Youth Development Fund which will provide support for genuine and committed youth of the party who will ensure, amongst others, that the NPP wins the 2016 elections. As a Human Resource expert, David noted that empowering and supporting the youth of New Patriotic Party is the partys best bet of ensuring the ballot is protected at the polling station level, right down to the constituency collation centres. The Fanteakwa executives of the NPP expressed their delight at the time taken by King David to visit them, as well as outlining his vision for them. They were impressed with the agenda of King David and pledged their support for him during the National elections scheduled for March 1, 2014. The picture was no different when King David stormed the Nkawkaw, Mpraeso and Abetifi constituencies with his message of hope and youth empowerment. All executives he met expressed their confidence with the vision outlined by King David and assured him of their support.
