Blow-By-Blow Account Of the Infamous Vickyleaks Conversation

Victoria Hammah went to bed on Thursday evening still a minister in the John Mahama-led NDC Administration. But by Friday morning, she was a persona non-grata following her dismissal from the position of Deputy Communications Minister by the president in a statement issued by Minister of Information and Media Relations, Mahama Ayariga. It is trite knowledge that the infamous leaked tape, now described rather wittily as vickyleaks, purported to contain her voice, had a lot to do with her being relieved of her duties. Victoria Hammah is heard on the tape indicating her determination to make one million dollars in politics before involving herself in any rancour. She also claimed among other things that a minister played a role in the Supreme Court judgment of the 2012 election petition which confirmed President Mahama as validly elected president. The tape was first played on Neat FM's "Me Man Nti" show hosted by Adakabre Frimpong Manso. On the over 30minutes tape recording of the two ladies - who appeared to be travelling while having the gossipy conversation she blabbed about how politically connected she was and how a colleague deputy minister at the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Rachel Appoh, secured her appointment after having dated men in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC). Peacefmonline.com has tried its best to transliterate what the two ladies said.
