Thousands of Glo Mobile subscribers based in Kumasi and environs who stormed the Jubilee Park venue of the Glo Slide & Bounce musical concert on Saturday evening were treated to an unprecedented package of entertainment, fun and leisure by iconic Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes. African Rapper Number One, MI, Wande Coal, Asem and Edem kept the attendees from all walks of life dancing and asking for more with their sublime performances while Highlife maestro, Pat Thomas, who was the first act of the night, reminded the audience that Ghana was the birth place of Highlife music. The energetic performance of Sherifa and her colourful dancers was an eclectic fusion of African culture and art which resonated with the culturally savvy Asanti people who formed the majority of the audience. Reggie Rockstone, DJ Black and Humorist Okey Bakassi ensured there was no dull moment during the show which lasted till Sunday morning with their witty comments, wise cracks, popular music, creative introductions and ad libbings. A cross section of attendees commended Glo Mobile Ghana for organizing the Slide & Bounce musical concert in Kumasi, adding that the city was renowned for football matches but not much of entertainment by international stars.
