The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Emmanuel Attafua Danso, recently joined other world leaders in the capitol building of Washington DC to participate in a conference dubbed International Young Democratic Union Conference. The conference hosted youth leaders from twenty five countries and gave him the opportunity to put in a strong argument and convince the other participants on the need for the youth to be actively involved in governance and given the chance to participate in all levels of decision making process. Issues on unemployment, limited educational opportunities, health and how corruption has affected developmental policies in Ghana were also touched on and solutions were offered by experts. Mr. Attafua Danso hinted that he placed Ghana and the NPP on a solid map during the event. Narrating his experience to Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Attuafua Danso stated that he attended several meetings which were organized by party's branches in New York, New Jersey and Washington. And during such forums, he interacted with Ghanaian youth and was privileged to have met with the Director of the Republican Future Leaders in the person of Mathew Thomas Redmond at Baltimore. From the experience garnered, the NPP National Youth Organiser believes most of the ideas exchanged could result in political dividends for the Ghanaian youth.
