Four Exit "The Challenge" Season 5

There were butterflies in their stomach, and with clenched fists and determined faces, they stood before the Board, comprising of Mike Nyinaku (Biege Capital), Esther Cobbah (Stratcomm Africa) and Albert Ocran (Combert Impressions) awaiting their fate. One could cut the tension that had mounted with the excitement, anxiety, rivalry and anticipation of competition all rolling into a big fat taut moment. With evictions now started, on who was the first axe going to fall? After a few weeks of keen competition, four of the intelligent contestants vying for the prize in The Challenge reality show season 5, were about to be shown the exit. The board had drawn their conclusions, and identified the weakest links in the groups. In a few moments, their verdict will be pronounced and cause the reality of eviction to sink into the minds of the contestants who need to now pull their weight and work harder to remain in the contest. The first two to leave the show were Stephen and Elias, who had failed to live up to expectations during the Tigo sales task, where they went on a sales drive to sell Tigo corporate data services to prospective clients. They were the least performers in their groups and also failed to convince the Board as to why they should not be evicted. Stephen and Elias, thus, bowed out of the competition gracefully amidst high emotions as tears streaked down the faces of their fellow contestants and friends. One would have thought after the first eviction, the second eviction would not attract equally sad emotions but that notion was farfetched as the second, which saw two beautiful damsels with brains exiting the competition. Afiba and Maame Abena were shown the exit after not pulling their weight with the second tasks in which they were charged to shoot a ten minutes documentary on Waste to Wealth. Groomed by the award winning video director Abraham Ohene Djan of OM Studious, the contestants were taken through the rudiments of video and documentary production and shared with them his 20 years of being in the video production business. He equipped them with enough tools to shoot their documentary and wished them well. Some groups understood exactly what the task was about and excelled without sweat; others struggled to make meaning of the task given them and went off the mark with the documentary. The competition gets keener, and everyone is doing their best to become the ultimate winner.
