PC Appiah Ofori Is A Cost To The Hopes Of NPP

Throughout much of a very long time, the ordinary NPP men and women have suffered so much indignity invited by our own P.C Appiah Ofori, former MP for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa. He has taken this regrettable path of dragging his family and party into disgrace for a dishonest interest best known to him alone and though people have asked our former MP, PC Ofori to live up to his title "honorable", PC Ofori would not listen and keep the turn of wisdom to save his dingy dignity. In 2008, his allegations against his own colleagues in parliament including Nana Addo, then Presidential candidate, without proof is the reason NPP lost the election. He followed this with dark words on his wife in public. For a period now, PC has tried everything possible to attack Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten without grounds or any provocation. This has gone on for far long and we are forced to a point where weve got to tell PC to stop dirty politics and start the struggle for dignity for himself. We can understand his frustration in the time of his lost relevance in our politics today. In the 21st century, his style of politics, the name calling and loose talk, has no place in the debate of our time. This is time for leaders who are example enough for others to follow, not those who resort to weak thinking of others. As a party, all NPP needs now is true unity, not one by mere words, but by action. It will be fatal for NPP to overlook the urgency of the moment and the inevitable need to call PC Ofori to order. At this point, all men and women in the NPP no matter where they stand should know the cost of disunity and distraction from persons like PC Appiah Ofori. We must ignore him and know the enduring truth that PC Appiah Ofori's wrong and weak denigration of Alan Kyerematen is a doom for NPP. He succeeded in bringing Nana Addo down in 2008, but we must stop him this time. PC must also know that the poor party people cannot continue to pay the double price of his irresponsibility. And so he must change, for what we expect now is not elders who would match loose talkers, but those who allow their age to match their wisdom. He has respect for none including his person, but cannot be carried into 2016. We therefore invite all Ghanaians to Judge PC Appiah Ofori and his unprintable words by what he is made of. Thank you.
