Jacob Zuma's Visit Will Yield Positive Results For Ghana - Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Government says it believes the state visit by President Jacob Zuma would yield positive dividends for both countries. �The visit will consolidate and strengthen the already healthy relations between Ghana and South Africa. And it is expected that, President Jacob Zuma�s visit will go a long way to open further avenues for strengthening this relationships� Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu stated. The South African President is expected in the country today for a three day state visit and is expected to be accompanied on the trip by key South African government officials and business leaders. His visit comes as a result of late President Mills� four day state visit in south Africa in 2011. Confirming the South African President's State Visit to the country, during a press briefing at the flagstaff house, Felix Kwakye Ofosu revealed that President Zuma would hold bilateral meeting with President John Mahama which will yield positive dividends for both countries. He further stated that President Zuma�s delegation would meet with key government leaders in Ghana and hold bilateral discussions on a broad range of issues. Meanwhile the two leaders are expected to address a gathering of business leaders in a bid to explore areas of mutual cooperation in a business forum at La Palm. �This forum is designed to create an opportunity for discussions on that subject and it should create an avenue for match making between Ghanaian business men and their South African counterparts,� he added.
