Hearts Fans Declare Support For Polo But Will Blame Board If Performance Dip

Hearts of Oak supporters leader Abdul Aziz Futah has pledged the fans support for new coach Mohammed Polo but says they will descend heavily on the clubs board of he fails. The ex Ghana star has been handed a short-term contract to replace David Duncan who was infamously fired by the clubs board a fortnight ago. The board have now gone ahead to appoint Polo who is a former player of Hearts despite pleas by the fans to have Duncan reinstalled. The supporters after an initial declaration to withdraw their support to the team and to any coach that is appointed now say they will be giving the ex Phobian their full backing. The supporters have however warned the board will be blamed if their decision to let Duncan go affect the teams form in the ongoing Premier League. We met Nyaho [Dr Tamakloe (a board member)] and begged him to help get Duncan back and he said he will do his best, Aziz Futah told Asempa FM. But now they say Polo is coming, fine. But they should remember where Hearts is now. If Hearts does well, we will clap for the board but if not we will blame the board headed by Togbe [Togbe Afede XIV (board chairman)]. Hearts are currently second in the Ghanaian top flight four points adrift leaders and rivals Asante Kotoko after twelve rounds of games.
