Solomon Nkansah: What Happened In NDC Has Occurred In NPP As Well...

As it is typical to have people in a society or a group without disagreement on issues, the Deputy Propaganda Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Solomon Nkansah believes the incident which occurred in the Mpraeso Constituency of the NDC following announcement of the re-nomination of Mr. Joseph Omari as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kwahu South is no exception of such phenomenon. Some aggrieved supporters of the NDC in the Mpraeso Constituency over the weekend vandalized the partys pick-up vehicle with registration number GV 2507-12 against the re-nomination of Mr. Joseph Omari as the DCE for Kwahu South. They destroyed the vehicles wind screen, driving mirror, removed the car tape and deflated the tyres and also forced the constituency office open and destroyed the office furniture, a computer and other valuable items. Reacting to the incident on Hot Fm, Solomon Nkansah averred that it is possible to have all manner of personalities in NDC who have different understanding and approach to issues pertaining to internal election. He stressed that with such internal problems, it takes quality leadership skills, patience and tolerance which have been the hallmark of NDC to restore peace; adding that the Kwahu South incident has not affected the foundation of the ruling party. Whiles believing the action by the NDC supporters was intended for the strengthening of the partys democracy, he added that the supporters approach should be restrained, directed and guided to address issues in a positive manner without recourse to violence. vandalism and misunderstanding are normal in politics but how you manage it will determine how you benefit out of these things. What happened in NDC has occurred in NPP as well; it will therefore be hypocritical for NPP to pass negative comment on what has happened in NDC, he stated.
