Prudential Bank Introduces �Customer Promise� Initiative

Prudential Bank Limited (PBL), has announced a customer-focused initiative aimed at paying more attention to the special needs of its individual and corporate clients. Addressing guests and staff of PBL at the official opening of the bank�s new East Legon branch at American House, Accra, the Deputy Managing Director in-charge of banking operations, Mrs Mary Brown said the bank�s move, dubbed: The �Customer Promise� was to ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times. This, she said, was is in line with the bank�s values which emphasise the need to offer customers the best and most rewarding banking services to ensure that they always leave the bank fulfilled. She, therefore, charged the management and staff to appreciate customers� needs and respond to them more effectively and efficiently.�Offer service that makes the customer feel special,� she stressed. In accordance with the bank�s customer focused direction, Mrs Brown stated that PBL had rolled out several products and services in recent times to exceed customers� expectations. These include improved internet banking through its netWise service and other products; special attention for small and medium scale enterprises, free cash collection and free business advisory services as well as special banking packages for students. The Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Stephen Sekyere Abankwa cut the tape to formally open the East Legon branch, bringing the number of PBL�s outlets to 33 and two agency offices spread across the country � Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Techiman and Tamale. Financial institutions are springing up all around the country. In view of that, the Deputy Managing Director, Finance, Administration and Credit Administration at PBL, Mr. Joseph Okine-Afrane reminded the staff that, customers now have alternatives and therefore there is the need to treat them very well.
